Puppy Agreement

The puppy that you are receiving is a purebred Golden Retriever and can be registered with the AKC upon transfer of ownership.

First shots and worming are completed by us prior to transfer at 8 weeks of age.  A  $250.00  non-refundable deposit is required to have your name placed on our waiting list.  Balance is due 1 week before transfer if shipping or upon transfer for those families picking their puppy up in person.

All pups are AKC with limited registration.  We recommend the puppy be neutered or spayed at the time your veterinarian advises.  Follow-up visits with your veterinarian will begin within 1 weeks of transfer.  Any shipping costs or arrangements, (including Vet. clearances for travel, related to delivery of the puppy) will be paid by us, and we are not held liable once the puppy has been shipped.  If you are looking for full registration please contact us.  We do sell a very limited amount of our puppies on full registration, but that is only after several conversations and the completion of an in depth questionnaire.

We guarantee that our puppies are in good health upon transfer.  If the puppy develops a debilitating congenital defect that prevents the puppy from being a companion pet within 12 months from the date of transfer we will replace the puppy with another puppy from the next available litter or provide a refund for the puppy (breeder's choice).  Documentation must be provided to us from 2 veterinarians stating the debilitation congenital defect and the prognosis with in 10 days of the date of diagnosis.  There is no obligation on the ability to show or field train  any of our puppies.  They are bred to be companion pets to your family and we make no guarantee as to show or field quality.

We make every effort to make sure your new puppy is a match to your family.  Although we cannot guarantee to the temperament of the puppy we will remain a constant resource and support to your family as you train and enjoy your new family member.  Adding a canine member to your life is a great responsibility for the new owner.  Please keep in mind patience and time are required for your new baby.  We urge all new owners to attend obediance classes.  Most often it is the new owners that gain more knowledge from these trainings rather than the puppy!  Classes also allow time to bond and get to know each other as well as socialize your puppy.  It means a great deal to us to hear about the dogs that we have placed with new families so we ask that you stay in contact from time to time to keep us updated!!

This agreement constitutes the entire agreement regarding the health, condition and temperament of the puppy being transferred.
